Fogging Intensified in Cideng Urban Village

In order to anticipate dengue fever, the Central Jakarta Health Department has fogged some areas in Cideng Urban Village, Gambir, Central Jakarta, Friday (3/13). It is done to respond a report regarding dengue fever case that attacked three people.

We found the case in victims’ houses and other locations. Besides that, in Cideng Urban Village, as much as 3 cases are found in February and 1 case in March

January-March, 172 Dengue Fever Cases Founded in E. Jakarta

Head of Central Jakarta Health Department, Reggy Stephanus Sobari said the fogging is an activity that focused on dengue fever-prone areas. The case was known after conducting epidemiology research.

“We found the case in victims’ houses and other locations. Besides that, in Cideng Urban Village, as much as 3 cases are found in February and 1 case in March. The most effective way to solve it is anti-mosquito campaign (PSN),” told Sobari to beritajakarta.com, Friday (3/13).

Meanwhile, Gambir Sub-District Head, Fauzi warned local citizens to be more aware by intensifying anti-mosquito campaign (PSN) in each home. This is because, this is the most effective way to prevent dengue fever threat.

“Citizens have to stay allert by doing anti-mosquito campaign twice a week every Friday,” he disclosed
